felix j. frühauf
was born in upper austria and chose vienna as home and work base in 2012.
since 2015 felix publishes his work under the synonym boyhood. it contains artistic architecture and landscape photography – mainly analogue and mostly black and whites.
inspired by the absence of human beings felix captures what crosses his path. yet, another important aspect of his artistic work lies in concepting and conceptual artpieces in general.
some of those concepts consist of drawings which do not necessarily have to end in photographs and can also be found in felix' portfolio.
in 2014 he graduated from "die graphische" and one year later he persued his photographic and artistic education at the "university of applied arts vienna".
"i admire great artists like bernd & hilla becher, robert capa, andreas gursky, thomas demand,
joseph nicéphore niepce and joseph beuys although i never have them actively on my mind
while working on my own pieces"
